PREETI was born with a profound dream to become a fashion designer. Stitching and cutting of dresses are in her blood as she is a girl of homeworker's family. Preeti, was no doubt a usual face of Aider. She has taken admission in our computer centre to seek a basic knowledge of computer which can help her in dress designing somehow. She is from a poor family where computer training or fashion designing are not preferable. Her father is a vendor and has four siblings. Preeti is one of them. She did her senior secondary and after that a course in designing. Aider gave this quiet girl a big opportunity to learn her dream. Here, we want to mention that Mr V k Jha, is the cousellor who found this hidden talent in Preeti during a session. She was dressed in a simple salwar kurta, her rough tangled hair were hanging loose. She found herself very scared. "Talent hunt is very important because according to their taste, we can give them a ladder to succeed." Now Preeti is totally different. She is learning to talk, to look and feel good with the help of NEXT. We are grateful to all the people connected in this help to promote economically weaker section develop skills to help them get employment.
Meet -A future Police Officer
nother poor boy came to AIDER Play School with goal to become police officer and will stop crime against women. Jawala, 8 has a dream to become a police officer and joined our school eight months ago. Her mother is home worker and father has passed away due to blood cancer. “MR.V.K Jha inspire us to be good human being of nation and taught us moral values whenever he visits school” he says. Now my mother is the sole bread earner in our family, despite the challenges she encourages me to pursue my education. I help my little brother in study and teach him regularly because my mother has more expectations from us. My mother brought us regularly in AIDER school to attain good education also we can full our stomach with tasty food at AIDER. We participate in dancing, painting, drawing organized by the school. When asked about the meal served by the AIDER, “I like all meal served by our school but poha, khichdi and juice in evening are my favorite meal”
Roshantara -24 belongs to poor family in Molarband, Badarpur
She completed her graduation from Delhi University. She lives with her mother, two brothers and one younger sister. The daughter of labour father and mother a house wife, in the respect to achieve her goal roshantara wants to become independent on her own feet. She has shown much enthusiasm in both studies and extracurricular activities. She has joined AIDER one year ago and completed her Basic Computer Course, Advanced Excel and tally. Roshantara also appreciates her teachers and praise them for their efforts in education. The faculty is really good and our teachers always inspire us, not only learnt Computer but participated on NGO Campaign, attended Seminar, Volunteering in Medical and nutrition camp. Now, Roshantara is earning 10,000 monthly by designing on computer and stitching work. AIDER wishes all the very best for her future endeavor.
Madhu Singh -20 another indigent girls where she never gave up on her dream
This could have been the end of Madhu Singh story, but she set a new goal and new inspiration for every needy girl. Madhu Singh, 20 another indigent girls where she never gave up on her dream. Today she is not only pursuing her Graduation from B.com (Hons) from Delhi University but started her job in Data Entry Operator at Badarpur. Madhu associated with AIDER one year ago, now completed her Basic Computer Training at our center and starts Tally. Her Mother works as a thread-cutter at textile company and earning 6000 in her full day job.Madhu’s father is running someone shop of printing and earning 6000-8000 monthly. As there was a financial problem in her house then madhu completed her schooling from government school and pursuing her graduation from school of learning school. She started teaching at AIDER play school from 2.02.16 to 30.0816 and get a chance to work with a very respected company and earning 15,000 monthly. Her eyes shining with confidence after attaining computer class from AIDER, Madhu says in her conversation
Kajal -10 belongs to very poor family at Molarband, Badarpur in New Delhi.
Her mother is house maid and goes people’s house for cleaning utensils and dusting for family survival and other expenses. Kajal has joined our school six months ago for attaining education and learning English classes. Kajal is one of the intelligent girl in our school even she can solve every difficult question by her amazing mind. A girl with sharp mind and sincere personality learned everything in her little age. I would like to thank AIDER NGO for giving me the opportunity when I lost my hope, they encourage my mother to brought kajal everyday for her better future. I was shy, nervous when I joined AIDER but ngo teachers filled up my confidence level, now I can communicate with confidence and without any hesitation to others. I learned at AIDER that every difficult situation and thing can be change and will change. My mother appreciates everyday NGO teachers’ efforts and motivation for supporting us. I am very talented and will give my best to the world by being a good citizen of the Nation
Vijeta, -18 joined AIDER after completed her 12th in U.P
She was very reserve, hesitant and shy when she joined AIDER. She had no knowledge of computer at that time and even she rarely talked with the others in our Centre. After joining the AIDER she felt more confident when talking with others. She has completed her basic computer course at AIDER and has now become more confident and can communicate in English with others. This is not a proud feeling for AIDER but a satisfaction that our children are taking lives ahead and becoming self-Governing and serving their talent to the society. Now we firmly believe that providing education to the impoverished and giving vocational training to the girls but it is more to preparing these students to act like more responsible and contributing their humanity to the society. Now she works in our NGO as a Volunteer. We feel so proud on her and very happy to see the intense change in her personality. Aider had given her not only computer training or confidence but also a goal of life. Now she is working at some recognize company and earning 15,000
Gudiya -35, finally broke her words into tears and told her terrifying story to our AIDER staff in 2015
Gudiya, poor woman was beaten by her husband regularly. Gudiya came from U.P and got married in her little age 16, after her marriage with an uneducated man and not well settled. Her mother threatened her if she approach to the police because of their reputation what will people think” she says in conversation. For more than four to five years gudiya endured her husband violence without saying a word. She was living her life in continuous threat and tolerates husband torture. But one day she approached to our ngo with more expectations of help and tell her whole story to one of AIDER Staff. Her case was immediately transferred to women Help Line for further intervention by AIDER Team. Trauma counseling and mental health counseling were provided at AIDER with the help of counselor and psychologist. Trust and assurance of confidentiality were ensured by our staff. After filing her case, AIDER gave vocational training to Gudiya and ensured her with safety and other basic needs. She has completed her Basic Computer Course at AIDER and now living her life without any fear from society.
